GLENS FALLS:  Robbery on Monday, November 5, 2007.

The person who allegedly did the crime was Stephen M. Jones.  He was arrested and the victim was Mrs. Clay.  She lives on 38 Chester Street.  Mr. Jones broke into Mrs. Clay’s house because he was going to visit family in Philadelphia, and he stole $110.00 from Mrs. Clay.  Mrs. Clay was 58 years old, and Mr. Jones was 24.

Mr. Jones broke in Mrs. Clay’s house around 12: 15 in the afternoon.  Mrs. Clay did not want to start a riot against Mr. Jones, but she and her family were upset.  Mrs. Clay wasn’t home when the robbery happened.  No one witnessed the crime scene.  Luckily Mr. Jones left fingerprints on the window he broke into and that’s how the police found out it was Mr. Jones and arrested him.  Mr. Jones confessed that he was drinking and stole the money.  Mrs. Clay found out about the robbery around 2:00 in the afternoon at Glens Falls, New York.  They will see if Mr. Jones has to go to jail and pay back Mrs. Clay.
