Stephen .M. Jones Arrested for Burglary

Glens Falls- Mildred Clay, age 58, was a victim of a burglary on Monday, November 5, 2007 at 12:15P.M.. Allegedly, Stephen M. Jones was arrested for a burglary at Mrs. Clay’s house on 38 Chester St., Glens Falls. Mr. Jones, age 24, broke into Mrs. Clay’s house and stole $110. When Mrs. Clay got home she saw that her window had been broken into. She immediately called the police. They found fingerprints on the windowsill.

The police immediately investigated. They found former files of Mr. Jones. He had been arrested for similar charges. His family members had snitched on him and said he went to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The police immediately notified the police in Pennsylvania to keep a look out for Mr. Jones. They found him the day after the crime. He admitted to doing the crime and that he had taken a bus to Philadelphia. There hasn’t been any set trial date as yet, but Jones could go to prison for 2 years if found guilty.
