                                                     Drunk Man Steals Money

Glens Falls - On Tuesday November 6th 2007, the Warren County Sheriff’s Office arrested

Stephen M. Jones, age 24, of Glens Falls, N.Y.  Mr. Jones was charged with Felony and 2nd degree burglary.

 

Mr. Jones was accused of forced entry into Mrs. Clay’s home on 38 Chester St., Glens Falls, N.Y.

 

Mrs. Clay arrived home to a shocking surprise.  At 12:15 on a Monday afternoon Mr. Jones allegedly broke through the window of Mrs. Clay’s home and took a substantial amount of money.  The investigators found fingerprints and tracked him in Philadelphia visiting relatives.

 

The money he stole was used for the bus ride to Philadelphia where he was arrested.  He remains in police custody until his arraignment.  He will have to pay the fine of $110 and stay in county jail for two years if convicted of the crime.
