Drunken Driver Commits Burglary

Glens Falls New York. On Monday November 5^th at 12:15 pm Stephen M.Jones allegedly broke into a house located at 38 Chester Street. The house belonged to 58 year old Mildred R.Clay.

Stephen Jones was arrested for burglary. He allegedly broke in through a window and stole 110.00.

Mrs. Clay was not home at the time of the crime, there were no witnesses, and no surveillance in the house. Mr. Jones confessed after he took a bus to a different state to see his family.

Police suspected him because they found his finger prints and a relative told on him.

He has been arrested before so his fingerprints were on file. He is now in custody in Glens Falls New York and is being charged with felony and second degree burglary which could cost him two years in prison.
