Dear Hadley-Luzerne School Community,

Today, the district learned that three individuals, two in the High School, and one in the Elementary, have tested positive for COVID-19. These individuals will have to quarantine and be cleared by the Department of Health before returning to school.

Fortunately, the individuals that tested positive for COVID-19 in the High School have not been on campus for several days, so there is no direct risk of exposure.

We have worked with the Warren County Department of Health to complete our contact tracing for the individual in the Elementary, and have found that there is no direct risk of further exposure, or need to quarantine any other individuals.

Please note that while there is no immediate risk of exposure regarding these three cases, our goal in sharing this information is to ensure that our district families are always up to date with what is happening in our community. This notification to parents and guardians is part of our commitment to keeping you informed about the spread of COVID-19 cases.

Please feel free to contact your child’s school office if you have any questions.  As always, we will inform you if there are any new cases within our district.

Beecher T. Baker Sr.,

Superintendent of Schools
