The 5rh Annual HL Mini-Marathon Dance is scheduled for January 19, 2019 and is open to the public from 7 pm - 10 pm. Mark your calendars! This year the recipients are Joshua Howe, Brecht Marcotte and the Hunter Scofield Scholarship Fund.



Mr. Rob Ashe will be offering a 5 hour drivers course on January 17, 2019 from 3:30pm to 8:30pm in the HS Tech Room 139. For more information call 518-696-2112 Ext. 3105.



The Saga City Students and Teachers are sponsoring a Can & Bottle Drive on Saturday, January 12th from 10 am to noon.  Please come to the back of the Junior-Senior High School (gym entrance) if you are able to donate.  If you need a pick up, please call (518) 260-2391.  If you want to donate ahead of time, we are accepting donations earlier.  Please drop them off at the High School and contact Mrs. Karen Love.  All proceeds help support the twenty HLCS students and four HLCS teachers going to Saga City Japan in Jun-July 2019.  Many thanks for your continued support.

Under the direction of Principal Jonathan Baker, the Hadley-Luzerne SMT Elementary School will be conducting its annual Kindergarten Round-Up on Wednesday, May 8 and Thursday, May 9. The round-up will take place at the Stuart M. Townsend Elementary School, 27 Hyland Drive in the LGI room. Students are eligible for Kindergarten if they turn five (5) years of age on or before December 1, 2019. If you read this notice and know of any family member or neighbor with school age children who are eligible to attend Kindergarten, please share this announcement with them. Registrants should provide the name, birth, gender, parent/guardian, address, phone and email to the H-L Elementary School Office, P.O. Box 200, Lake Luzerne, NY 12846. You will receive an informational letter that will include a scheduled time for you and your child to attend the HL Kindergarten Round-Up. Should you need any additional information about Kindergarten Round-Up, call the H-L Elementary School at 696-2378 x 1101.



Do you have a child at home who will be four years old on or before December 1, 2019? Do you know someone in the district who does? If so, your child may be eligible to participate in the Hadley-Luzerne Central School District’s Pre-Kindergarten Program for the 2019-2020 school year under the direction of Principal Jonathan Baker. Our Pre-K program is designed to operate for 2 ½ hours per day and follows the school calendar. One session will be held each day (8:15-10:45 am). A second session will be added from 12:00-2:30 pm if the need arises. A highly qualified teacher and teaching assistant will conduct the classes. Letters of acceptance will be mailed by Friday, June 19, 2019. Please note transportation is NOT provided. Parents/Guardians are responsible for dropping off and picking up their children. If you are interested, we welcome you to join us on Wednesday, April 17, 6:00 PM in the Elementary School Media Center for a registration/parent information meeting. Please bring all completed registration materials to register your child. If you cannot attend the meeting, please mail the required forms by Monday, May 13 (forms are available from the Elementary Office). The following is a checklist of forms/reminders needed to help you enter your child into the program: Registration Form, Physical Form (Physicals must be completed prior to starting school in September), Proof of Immunizations, Birth Certificate and Proof of Residency. Please note your child must be toilet trained. Please be advised that this is an informational night for parents/guardians only.
