The Winter Concert for Grades 3-5 will be held on Wednesday, February 15th at 7:00 pm in the HS Auditorium.  The students have been practicing hard under the direction of Mrs. Purdy, Mrs. Pratt and Mr. Iachetta.  Join them for an enjoyable evening of music.



On Monday, February 27th, the Billy Martin Circus will perform in the Hadley Luzerne High School gym at 7:00 pm. Tickets purchased in advanced are only $10 per adult.  Tickets at the door are $15 per adult.  Two children (12 and under) are free with an adult accompanying them.  Purchase your tickets in advance at any of the three main school offices.


The Hadley Luzerne High School Sophomore Class of 2014 is hosting a “Dining for a Cause” fundraiser benefit at the Ninety Nine Restaurant in Aviation Mall on Tuesday, February 28th from 5:00-8:00pm.  Please see any Sophomore for a voucher or drop by the High School office to pick up your “Dining for a cause” voucher.  The Ninety Nine will donate 15% of your check to our class so please pass the word on to all of your friends and family and let’s fill the restaurant!!!  If you have any questions, please contact Theresa Crombach, class advisor, at the High School at 696-2112 x101.  Thank you and we hope you can join us for a fun evening!



Do you have a child at home who will be four years old on or before December 1, 2012?  Do you know someone in the district who does?  If so, your child may be eligible to participate in the Hadley-Luzerne Central School District’s Pre-Kindergarten Program for the 2011-2012 school year.

Our Pre-K program is designed to operate for 2 ½ hours per day and follows the school calendar.  One session will be held each day (8:15-10:45am).  A second session will be added from 11:30-2:00pm) if the need arises.  A highly qualified teacher and teaching assistant will conduct the classes, with a class size of no more than 18.  Letters of acceptance will be mailed by Friday, June 22, 2012.  Please note transportation is not provided.  Parents/Guardians are responsible for dropping off and picking up their children.  If you are interested, we welcome you to join us on Wednesday, April 4th 6:00 PM in the High School Media Center for a registration/parent information meeting. Please bring all completed registration materials to register your child.  If you cannot attend the meeting, please mail the required forms by Monday, May 7th (forms are available from the PK-2 Elementary Office).  The following is a checklist of forms/reminders needed to help you enter your child into the program:  Registration Form, Physical Form (Physicals will be accepted until August 24th, 2012), Birth Certificate and Proof of residency.  Please note your child must be toilet trained.  Please be advised that this is an informational night for parents/guardians only. Hadley-Luzerne Elementary School will be conducting its annual Kindergarten Round-Up on Tuesday, May 1st and Wednesday, May 2nd 2012. The Round-Up will take place at the Hadley-Luzerne George Doherty Gymnasium Lobby, 273 Lake Avenue, Lake Luzerne, NY 12846.  Students are eligible for Kindergarten if they turn five years of age on or before December 1, 2012.  If you read this notice and know of any family member or neighbor with school age children who are eligible to attend Kindergarten, please share this announcement with them.  Please complete the information below and return this form to the Hadley-Luzerne Central School Elementary School Office, PO Box 200, Lake Luzerne, NY  12846  You will receive an informational letter back that will include a scheduled time for you and your child to attend the Kindergarten Round-Up.  Should you need any additional information regarding Kindergarten Round-Up, call the Elementary School at 696-2112 x 101
