The story we are reading is The Bug Bath. The story is about two

bugs that find a bath. However, it turns out to be a bath

for a boy. After fleeing from the tub, they find the perfect bath for

two bugs!

Some fun activities to help your child study:

· Shaving cream spelling- put a dab of shaving

cream on counter and have child write the

words in it (cleans up and smells great!)

· magnetic letter spelling

· cut letters from magazines to spell the words

· rainbow spelling-write the word in one color and

trace over it with 2 or 3 other colors

· highlight words from newspaper or magazine as

they spell them

· clay spelling- make the letters in clay and spell the

words
