should give you all the information you need to help your child be successful
in third grade. Below you will find the
homework assignments and any other information that might be required or needed
from our class. If you ever have any
questions, please feel free to contact me at school on
Homework Policy:
Students
will be given daily homework assignments Monday-Thursday. Occasionally,
this will include Fridays. These
assignments will be written down daily in your child's homework folder. Parents need to sign the assignment sheet

Please
read every evening for 15 minutes. This
counts towards Book-It.
Please
don’t forget that all children are required to change for gym. Not being prepared will affect your child’s
grade.
Don’t
forget a healthy snack each day.
Spelling:
Your child will have a pretest/introduction on the spelling words on
Mondays. They will have their regular,
scored test on Thursday. There will be
15 words to achieve a 100% with 5 bonus words for one point each. Your child could potentially receive a 105%
each week. There will be a second
chance to receive a 100% or above on Friday.

Math: Not only will your child have regular math
homework, which generally includes Fact Practice but will also have a homework
page to complete. This homework is
similar to the classroom practice that you will find on the opposite side of
your child’s take-home sheet, Side A.

Your child is required to bring in sneakers, shorts and a tee-shirt to
change in to in order participate in gym.
