a School Psychologist, I have received training to work with pre-schoolers,
children, adolescents, and their teachers and families. I work with all
school personnel to help make education for students a positive and rewarding
experience. I have specialized training in mental health, child

sometimes see children for short-term individual or group counseling to help
them understand their emotions or learn better ways of solving social

evaluation to assess any of the following: intelligence, personality,
academic achievement, social and emotional functioning, and adaptive behavior
functioning. I
work directly with parents and consult about children's learning problems,
emotional or behavioral difficulties, and social growth. I may also
help parents find resources in the community to address various concerns for
the child and/or family. I
work directly with teachers and administrators. I may provide teachers
with information about learning principles, social behavior, classroom
management, and academic behavior. I meet with teachers in consultation
about individual children.
