HS Concert dress rehearsals will take place as follows:

Select Choir: Tuesday, May 7 during period 9

HS Chorus: Wednesday, May 8 during period 9

Our HS Spring Vocal Concert will be taking place on Thursday, May 9 at 7:30 pm. All High School Chorus and Select Choir members should plan to meet in chorus room 142 by 7:00 pm for warm -ups.

Concert attire:

Girls: Black dress pants or knee-length skirt, solid colored blouse in your choice of pink, purple, green, yellow or blue), dress shoes (no flip flops, please, as this presents a safety hazard)

Boys: Black dress pants, solid colored button down shirt in your choice of color, tie, dress shoes

Please keep in mind that the school dress code will be in effect for our concert performance.

Congratulations to the following students who participated in this year’s SWCMEA All-County Chorus Festival which was held at Schuylerville CSD on January 25 and 26:

6th Grade Chorus: Bryana Bennett, Delaney Locke, Jillian Tigaldao, Cody York

Women’s Chorus: Autumn Burns, Zoe Fuerst, Callie Kader, Julia Spelter, Anna Waterhouse

Men’s Chorus: Del Clement, Sean Smith, Kyan Voronovich

SATB Chorus: Briana Dalaba, Darren Cirillo, Roberto Melillo, Shannon Murphy, Coby Voronovich, Kaitlynn Woodcock.

Each member of our HS Chorus has been asked to prepare one of two challenge pieces to be performed either individually or in groups of two. Challenge pieces will be performed during the weeks of February 11 and February 25. Be sure to check back for your scheduled performance time.

This rubric will be used to evaluate your challenge piece.

Congratulations to all members of the select choir who performed our national anthem at the Phantoms Hockey game at the Glens Falls Civic Center on Friday, February 1. You made us all very proud!

Our January lesson schedule is posted. Additionally, we have many students who will be participating in the SWCMEA All-County Chorus Fesitval during the last weekend in January. Please mark your calendars for after school rehearsals (look on the lesson schedule) so that you can be prepared to the best of your ability.
