To provide accurate, current, and helpful information, The Hadley-Luzerne School District has created this page as a centralized resource for our community in response to COVID-19 and its effects on the reopening of schools.
Communication of a Confirmed COVID-19 Case
Per the governor’s executive order, Hadley-Luzerne School District must report the number of confirmed cases on a daily basis to the New York State Department of Health. This information is publicly available on the New York State COVID Report Card.
As part of our COVID-19 communications, the District will do the following:
An email will be sent to staff/families in the impacted school building with specific information about working with the county public health service and quarantine procedures as needed.
An ALL CALL will be sent out to all families ensuring that those without email/internet are updated.
In the event of a school closure, all of the above will take place. Additionally, we will post an update in our "News" section on the homepage of the website.
